leadership coaching

As an entrepreneur or manager, you want to lead effectively and efficiently.

To do this, it is necessary and useful to look at your own leadership personality:

  • What does leadership really mean to you?

  • Which role models have shaped your image of leadership?

  • What resources do you already have, what can you build on?

  • What blocks prevent you from showing the power of your leadership personality?

  • How does your environment encourage or inhibit your leadership role?

  • What is your very personal, ideal leadership style?

  • supervision

  • Support in the application phase or during a job change
Take the opportunity to reflect on your professional situation, to find out what you really want and to plan and implement this in an action-oriented manner.

to be terminated

It can happen to anyone - termination by the employer. The person concerned must then take many practical things into account and initiate them.

But the soul can also need support. Some people develop feelings of hurt, damaged self-esteem, lack of confidence in themselves, or worries about the future.
For other people, this experience even has a traumatic character with strong physical and mental symptoms such as sleep disorders, anxiety and panic attacks or the complete inability to do necessary things.

In order to be able to accept and shape this crisis as an opportunity, emotional stability and strengthening of personal resources are required first. After that, the stressful experience can be processed and the soul prepared for the future.

sports performance

The processing of blockages in sports can make an important contribution to improving performance for both professional and amateur athletes.

An athlete repeatedly experiences injuries and accidents in the course of his sporting career. A physical injury always leads to a psychological injury (including trauma). But humiliation by spectators or trainers can also trigger blockages or stress reactions. Physical injuries sometimes inexplicably don't heal properly or keep coming back. Frequently, the psychological trauma that also occurred at the same time was not treated. In addition, there are often protective postures in the muscles or a reflex to flinch if, for example, the ball comes flying towards the athlete. These are traumatic memories stored in deep brain structures that cannot be consciously suppressed.

A term that is mentioned here again and again is YIPS. The news magazineThe mirrorwrote in 2014, for example, that golfers feared Yips because it makes the arms and hands tremble uncontrollably when putting just before the hole. This makes it impossible to put away what was believed to be safe. But other athletes can also be affected by Yips. In darts, basketball or tennis, Yips has already led to athletes choosing a different movement sequence to avoid it or, in the worst case, giving up their professional career.

The usual diagnosis is focal dystonia. However, there is a myth here. Muscles don't "just twitch" uncontrollably. The anamnesis of an athlete with this type of complaint shows that one or more injuries during or outside of sport, extremely stressful situations or humiliation, for example by the trainer as a child, are present. The person concerned often split off this experience ("wasn't important" or "that has nothing to do with tennis"). Focal dystonia is a traumatic disorder.

If these experiences are worked through as part of the coaching, the movement sequence during sport can flow freely again.

The most important and most successful method here is brainspotting. dr David Grand, who developed Brainspotting, has achieved notable success here.
